ReadyToPlayArt provides Burning Man artists with the help they need (for free!) to place their art - either as a direct sale, yearly or multi-year rental or for a temporary installation - working directly with and for the artist to close opportunities, establish connections, define legal boundaries, create financial opportunity and increase public enjoyment of the art that makes Burning Man so special.

Art Consultation
I will work directly with you to hear about your art piece, your needs, your motivations and advise you on a potential plan that fits. I do so on a ‘gifting’ basis. If we monetize your art through placement and you want to gift us some return for the work we did, we will welcome that. No set fee, no set commission. We engage with you and you benefit immediately. We are trying to live the Burning Man principle around gifting - unconditional giving with no expectation in return.
Art Sales
I’m not an art dealer, but I will work with you to find the right opportunities that meet your needs. Be it a festival rental, a single buyer purchase or multi-year civic placement, we’ve done it! We can advise you on how to price your art, best practices for installation and de-installation reimbersement as well as general refurb budgeting to get your art piece ready to place.
Commercial Connections
Burning Man Project often gets requests from event organizers, concerts, festivals and the like for placement of art. I track these opportunities from Burning Man and bring them to applicable artists.
Legal & Contractual
Each placement is different and the contractual stuff is confusing. I act as the negotiator, interpreter and listener - working across legal and creative lines - to define the terms needed to handle transaction details for all involved. So far our agreements have all been fair to buyer and artist, both win!
